A men's merino snood and beanie – a scarf with nothing to tie
A closed merino snood that pulls straight over the head and sits at the neck with nothing to tie, nothing to come loose, nothing hanging out of a coat. With a matching beanie in the same garter stitch.
Pure merino: warm on a frost morning, soft enough to wear against the throat all day, and it does not itch.
Snood 35 x 140 cm, beanie 46 x 21 cm and elastic. One size.
It is knitted to shape – fully-fashioned, never cut out of a length of knitted fabric – and wherever the knit is joined it is hand-linked: the open stitches are fed onto the linking machine one loop at a time, so the join stretches with the knit.
It is hand-finished and hand-steamed, then washed before it leaves the workshop, so it arrives at its true size and stays there. The yarn is spun in Italy.
I design every piece myself, and it is knitted in a small workshop here in Lithuania – a few at a time, never off a production line.
Every piece passes through my hands before it is packed – I check each one myself before it goes out.
It arrives in a plain brown box with the care card inside and nothing else – no filler paper, no leaflets. That is a choice, not a saving – I would rather use less than print something that is made to be thrown away.

Snood – width 35 cm / 13.78", length 140 cm / 55.12".
Beanie – width 46 cm / 18.11", height 21 cm / 8.27".
CARE:
– hand wash;
– maximum washing temperature 30 °C;
– gently squeeze the excess water out of the washed garment, do not wring it;
– do not hang it wet on a hanger, as it will lose its shape;
– do not tumble dry;
– iron on the lowest setting with steam, or simply steam it.
