Bridal kid mohair cape – quiet luxury for your day
A very wide, very long wrap in lightweight kid mohair that sits weightlessly over your gown. Thin enough never to hide the dress, warm enough for a cool evening.
Kid mohair is the lightest wool there is, so it drapes instead of adding bulk – you will feel wrapped, not covered.
Simple to wear over anything: a fitted gown, a slip dress or a two-piece. On the shoulders, off the shoulders, or loose over the arms.
Fine enough to see the light through – it reads as a haze rather than a layer. Thin does not mean cool – kid mohair is warm even in a knit this light.
At 220 cm it can also hang loose as a stole that falls almost to the floor, rather than wrapped close.
It is knitted to shape – fully-fashioned, never cut out of a length of knitted fabric – and wherever the knit is joined it is hand-linked: the open stitches are fed onto the linking machine one loop at a time, so the join stretches with the knit.
It is hand-finished and hand-steamed, then washed before it leaves the workshop, so it arrives at its true size and stays there. The yarn is spun in Italy.
I design every piece myself, and it is knitted in a small workshop here in Lithuania – a few at a time, never off a production line.
Every piece passes through my hands before it is packed – I check each one myself before it goes out.
It arrives in a plain brown box with the care card inside and nothing else – no filler paper, no leaflets. That is a choice, not a saving – I would rather use less than print something that is made to be thrown away.

90% kid mohair, 10% polyacrylic.

Width – 110 cm / 43.31";

CARE:
– hand wash;
– maximum washing temperature 30 °C;
– gently squeeze the excess water out of the washed garment, do not wring it;
– do not hang it wet on a hanger, as it will lose its shape;
– do not tumble dry;
– iron on the lowest setting with steam, or simply steam it.
